📋 Description

• The Dutch Quality Control Specialist role is a critical freelance position supporting Project Lyra, a high-impact initiative to refine AI-generated language outputs for Dutch-speaking users. This role directly contributes to improving the linguistic accuracy, grammatical correctness, and cultural relevance of conversational AI systems, ensuring they communicate naturally and appropriately in real-world contexts.
• As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the quality of AI language models by evaluating and enhancing machine-generated text, making your expertise essential to the success of cutting-edge natural language processing applications.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and evaluating AI-generated Dutch text for linguistic accuracy, grammatical correctness, and cultural appropriateness; identifying errors, inconsistencies, or unnatural phrasing and providing high-quality rewritten responses to improve language outputs; developing natural, contextually appropriate prompts and responses in Dutch to enrich conversational training datasets; collaborating with global linguistics and AI teams to share insights, align on quality standards, and iteratively improve model performance; conducting structured tasks such as preference ranking, grammaticality checks, and text improvement exercises with precision and consistency; and maintaining detailed records of evaluations and feedback to support continuous improvement cycles.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong academic or professional background in linguistics (required).
• Native or professional proficiency in Dutch with excellent written communication skills.
• Deep understanding of Dutch grammar, linguistic structures, and cultural nuances.
• Experience in language review, evaluation, prompt-response writing, or similar linguistic quality assurance roles.
• Comfortable working with structured linguistic tasks such as preference ranking, grammaticality checks, and text improvement.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver clear, constructive, and actionable feedback.
