This remote position based in Cape Town, South Africa, supports customers across US time zones (EST–PST), ensuring seamless online shopping journeys from inquiry to post-purchase resolution. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, and operational efficiency by providing empathetic, accurate, and timely support across digital channels.
  • • As a key member of the customer support team, you will be the frontline advocate for customers, resolving issues related to products, orders, payments, returns, and exchanges while maintaining high standards of service quality. You’ll collaborate closely with Operations, Fulfillment, and internal teams to ensure consistent and effective solutions, contributing to a customer-first culture that drives long-term business success.
  • • What the person will do day to day:
  • • Handle customer inquiries via email and chat concerning products, order status, payment issues, returns, exchanges, and shipping updates with clarity, empathy, and precision.
  • • Maintain accurate and detailed ticket records in support platforms, documenting customer interactions, resolutions, and follow-up actions to ensure continuity and compliance with quality standards.
  • • Collaborate with Operations and Fulfillment teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues such as delayed shipments, inventory discrepancies, or fulfillment errors, acting as a liaison between customers and internal departments.
  • • Adhere to established support processes, SLAs, and quality guidelines while identifying trends in customer feedback to suggest improvements in workflows, FAQs, or help center content.
  • • Manage a high volume of incoming tickets efficiently, prioritizing urgent issues and balancing multiple responsibilities without compromising response time or accuracy.
  • • Contribute to team knowledge by helping update FAQs, support articles, or internal guides based on recurring customer questions, enhancing self-service options and reducing repeat inquiries.
