  • • As an E-commerce Manager at Scale Army Careers, you will be at the forefront of driving growth and operational excellence for a dynamic consumer brand with a robust multi-channel e-commerce business. This pivotal role is designed for a strategic and results-oriented individual who thrives in a performance-driven environment, focusing on revenue expansion and seamless operations across direct-to-consumer (DTC) and marketplace channels.
  • • You will be instrumental in orchestrating the intricate interplay between paid media, subscriptions, lifecycle marketing, and strategic partnerships, all aimed at fostering sustainable and significant growth. The core of this position lies in ensuring tight alignment between advertising expenditure, ambitious revenue targets, platform performance, and customer retention strategies. This is a fully remote position, requiring availability during U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours (9 AM - 5 PM EST).
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage critical facets of the e-commerce operation, including paid advertising campaigns, overall revenue performance, marketplace channel management, subscription programs, lifecycle marketing initiatives, and partner collaborations. You will lead and manage key contributors across the e-commerce function, fostering a high-performing team environment.
  • • This role demands ownership of performance across all e-commerce touchpoints: paid media, e-commerce platforms, customer retention, and team execution. You will be accountable for achieving revenue goals through disciplined monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), continuous optimization of strategies, and comprehensive reporting.
  • • **Ads & Revenue Oversight:** You will manage and optimize performance across major advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Meta (Instagram & Facebook) Ads, and Amazon Ads. A key aspect of this responsibility is aligning ad spend directly with revenue targets, ensuring maximum return on investment. You will meticulously track and optimize critical KPIs such as Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Conversion Rates, Cost Per Click (CPC), and Average Order Value (AOV).
  • • You will collaborate closely with an external e-commerce ad agency, conducting weekly performance reviews to ensure campaigns are on track and identifying opportunities for improvement. Furthermore, you will monitor and report on the overall e-commerce sales performance, providing insights into trends and potential areas for growth.
  • • **Marketplaces & Subscriptions Management:** This role involves the strategic management of key e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, Amazon, and Faire. You will conduct weekly monitoring of these platforms to ensure optimal functionality, accurate product listings and content, consistent pricing and promotions, and clear inventory visibility. This proactive approach is crucial for maintaining a seamless customer experience and maximizing sales opportunities.
  • • A significant focus will be placed on managing and growing the subscription business, leveraging platforms like Recharge. Your efforts will be directed towards improving customer retention rates, increasing upsell opportunities, and driving repeat purchase behavior. You will also manage owned-channel retargeting and upsell tools, such as Genie, Intently, and Gift Note, to further enhance customer lifetime value.
  • • **Lifecycle, Social & Partnerships:** You will be responsible for creating and overseeing impactful email marketing campaigns within Klaviyo, including developing sophisticated segmentation strategies, optimizing automated flows, and executing targeted campaigns. This ensures effective communication and engagement with our customer base throughout their journey.
  • • Oversight of social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest, will be a key responsibility. You will act as a community manager, fostering engagement and building brand loyalty. Collaboration with the affiliate specialist will be essential for managing and growing the affiliate marketing program, expanding reach and driving new customer acquisition.
  • • **Team Management & Reporting:** You will lead and manage the e-commerce support team, which includes a Website Manager, Affiliate Specialist, the E-commerce Ad Agency, and a Shared Assistant. This involves providing direction, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the team is aligned with overall e-commerce objectives.
  • • You will be responsible for reporting on team performance and the comprehensive e-commerce KPIs, providing clear and concise updates to stakeholders. This role offers a unique opportunity to own and scale a complex e-commerce operation across multiple critical channels, working closely with internal teams and external partners to make a direct impact on revenue performance, customer retention, and long-term business growth.
