  • • As an EA-Solutions Engineer at NGP VAN, you will be a pivotal technical and subject matter expert, directly supporting the revenue organization in its mission to advance progressive causes through innovative technology.
  • • You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our clients' needs and our powerful suite of NGP VAN, Mobilize, and ActionKit products, ensuring they can effectively leverage our solutions to achieve their campaign and advocacy goals.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with sales teams, acting as a trusted advisor to identify and articulate the most effective technical and business solutions for prospective and existing customers.
  • • This involves proactively engaging in discovery processes to deeply understand client requirements, challenges, and objectives, and then architecting tailored success paths that align with our product capabilities.
  • • You will be instrumental in crafting compelling narratives around our technology, developing customized presentations, dynamic demonstrations, and functional prototypes that vividly illustrate the business value and impact of our solutions to C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve conducting thorough research into current customer setups, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and providing strategic recommendations that pave the way for future sales engagements and deeper client partnerships.
  • • You will be expected to manage multiple concurrent sales opportunities with precision and efficiency, consistently delivering high-quality technical solutions and support within established timelines.
  • • Beyond direct sales support, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of the revenue organization by creating valuable content and leading enablement sessions, sharing your expertise on our products and technical solutions.
  • • You will also be involved in the critical process of responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring that our technical capabilities and value propositions are clearly and persuasively communicated.
  • • A key aspect of this role is fostering strong cross-functional relationships. You will collaborate closely with product managers and other internal subject matter experts to provide valuable market feedback, influencing product development strategy and ensuring our offerings remain at the forefront of the progressive tech landscape.
  • • As clients progress through the sales cycle, you will work seamlessly with other internal stakeholders, including services, provisioning, and implementation teams, to ensure a smooth and successful transition from prospect to satisfied customer.
  • • You will also partner with other members of the revenue organization to maintain and enhance robust demo environments, ensuring that our sales teams have access to cutting-edge tools for showcasing our product's capabilities.
  • • This role demands a proactive, client-centric approach, coupled with strong technical acumen and a deep understanding of the progressive political and non-profit landscape.
  • • You will be a key player in helping NGP VAN continue its legacy of powering trailblazers, campaigners, and advocates fighting for equality, racial justice, reproductive freedom, climate reform, and other critical progressive causes.
  • • Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business benefits will be essential in driving adoption and ensuring our clients achieve their mission-critical objectives.
  • • By providing expert technical guidance and strategic insights, you will directly contribute to the growth and success of NGP VAN and the vital work of our clients.
  • • This is an opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in a mission-driven environment, making a tangible impact on the future of progressive organizing and advocacy.
  • • You will be at the forefront of technological innovation within the progressive movement, helping to shape how campaigns and advocacy groups engage with their supporters and achieve their goals.
  • • The role requires a blend of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for progressive politics and social change.
  • • You will be a vital resource for the sales team, empowering them with the technical knowledge and solutions needed to win and retain clients.
  • • Your contributions will directly influence the effectiveness of campaigns and organizations working to create a more just and equitable society.
