This is a unique opportunity to leverage your editing skills to create impactful memorial keepsake videos, ensuring the highest quality content that resonates deeply with families during their time of remembrance.
• • In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in producing memorial slideshow videos that serve as cherished tributes. You will work closely with the Head of Customer Success and, more importantly, directly with families who have recently experienced loss. Your primary responsibility will be to artfully weave together family photos, audio clips, video snippets, and personalized elements into beautiful, heartfelt keepsakes designed for funerals and memorial services. This requires not only technical proficiency but also a profound sense of empathy and discretion, understanding the sensitive nature of the content you are creating.
• • Beyond memorial videos, you will also collaborate with our internal team, including the CEO and the Head of Growth, to take the creative lead on editing video content for broader marketing and brand-building initiatives. This dual focus allows you to contribute to both deeply personal projects and strategic brand development, showcasing your versatility as a video professional.
• • As part of a collaborative remote team, you will partner closely with our lead video editor. Together, you will manage shared ownership of the production pipeline, ensuring clear division of responsibilities and consistent adherence to all deadlines. Proactive communication and meticulous tracking of production timelines are essential. You will be expected to identify potential delays and communicate any necessary adjustments well in advance to keep deliverables on schedule. This collaborative approach ensures efficiency and maintains the high standards expected by our clients and their families.
• • Your technical expertise will be applied using DaVinci Resolve, a powerful editing suite. You will be responsible for not only editing but also enhancing video content to achieve a polished and professional final product. A key aspect of this role involves identifying recurring patterns in video creation and establishing standardized video formats. This proactive approach to workflow optimization will streamline production processes, allowing for greater efficiency and consistency across all projects.
• • Collaboration extends beyond the editing suite. You will work with various cross-functional teams to ensure video content is delivered promptly and meets all project requirements. Furthermore, maintaining meticulously organized video files and comprehensive project documentation is vital for efficient workflow management and future reference. • • This is a full-time, remote position based in Argentina or Uruguay, with a work schedule typically falling in the afternoons and evenings, from Saturday to Wednesday.
