- • The Senior Global Program Manager at Viatris Inc. plays a critical role in advancing the company’s mission to empower people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life by supporting global healthcare initiatives that bridge generics and branded medicines.
- • Day to day, the role involves leading global project team meetings, ensuring deliverables are met, developing project timelines and budgets, monitoring progress, communicating complex concepts, identifying risks, and aligning functional goals with project objectives across pharmaceutical development programs.
- • Viatris is a global healthcare company supplying high-quality medicines to approximately 1 billion patients annually, recognized on multiple award lists for its impact, and committed to an inclusive, equitable workplace where employees contribute to meaningful health outcomes from birth to end of life.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in pharmaceutical program management, strengthen cross-functional leadership, gain experience in risk mitigation and budget oversight, and contribute directly to the successful execution of global development projects that improve patient access to medicine.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination; Master’s degree and 5 years of pharmaceutical development experience preferred.
- • PMP certification is a plus but not required.
- • Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical development programs, including clinical, CMC, commercial principles, and health authority requirements.
- • Proven project management skills: timeline development, critical path analysis, budget management, risk analysis and mitigation, and strong communication abilities.
- • Ability to read, interpret, and write complex business and technical documents; proficiency in presenting to groups and communicating ambiguous concepts across organizational levels.
- • Fluency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing) is required.
