- • Lead end-to-end category management for Generic Pharmaceuticals, including sales and market share analysis, identifying underperforming segments, and developing strategic plans to drive growth, profitability, and market expansion.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic partner for key manufacturer suppliers, managing relationships through Partnership programs, National Sales Meetings, and price negotiations.
- • Develop and execute joint marketing, advertising, and business plans with supplier partners to achieve mutual growth objectives.
- • Manage quarterly rebate ROI updates and annual product RFP processes, including cost book maintenance and supplier contract compliance.
- • Own the full lifecycle of new product submissions: review supplier data, determine product acceptance/rejection, set pricing and forecast, oversee item code creation, web attributes, catalog copy, and regulatory onboarding.
- • Collaborate with suppliers to design and implement promotional plans that ensure successful product launches across all channels.
- • Manage current product line content, including determining featured products for all media channels, negotiating buying deals, and ensuring accurate product classifications, descriptions, and imagery in A-system and e-commerce platforms.
- • Lead SKU optimization and resolution of non-saleable inventory pools to maintain inventory integrity and operational efficiency.
- • Oversee layout, presentation, and issue resolution for all category content across marketing platforms and digital channels within established deadlines.
- • Analyze P&L statements and financial metrics to make data-driven decisions aligned with overall business strategy and profitability goals.
- • Mentor and develop other Product Category Managers and specialists, providing leadership and guidance to build high-performing teams.
- • Plan, manage, and execute complex cross-functional projects with defined timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- • Communicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders, presenting strategic recommendations and performance insights.
- • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to manage internal and external relationships, resolve conflicts, and navigate organizational dynamics.
- • Maintain expertise as the category authority within the Medical Group/Industry, ensuring alignment with industry practices and company policies.
- • Lead and develop virtual teams across geographies with a focus on performance, motivation, and professional development.
- • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational priorities.
