- • Senior Product Manager responsible for owning ezCater’s Enterprise Data Platform as a product, ensuring it delivers trusted, governed, and scalable data capabilities that power analytics, self-service, and AI/natural-language experiences across the organization.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include defining platform vision and strategy, building multi-quarter roadmaps, owning data product governance and classification, driving adoption and migration from legacy systems, ensuring AI/natural-language readiness, managing reliability and cost metrics, and partnering with engineering, architecture, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.
- • ezCater is the #1 food tech platform for workplaces in the U.S., connecting organizations with over 125,000 restaurants to manage employee meal programs, meetings, and food services with 24/7 support and business-grade reliability, while helping restaurant partners grow through high-value customer acquisition.
- • In this role, you will learn to lead complex data platform transformations, shape AI-ready data foundations, influence cross-functional technical and business strategy, and measure impact through a defined North Star metric — gaining deep expertise in data product management, platform governance, and enterprise-scale data enablement.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years working in or directly with data engineering, data platform, or analytics teams in complex, multi-system environments
- • 5+ years owning data or analytics products, with direct data-product-management experience strongly preferred
- • Demonstrated success owning end-to-end data or platform products from discovery through launch, adoption, and measurable business impact
- • Deep familiarity with modern cloud data-warehouse and lakehouse architectures, ELT/transformation patterns, and semantic/metrics layers supporting AI and natural-language analytics
- • Strong SQL skills and comfort exploring data, platform metadata, logs, cost, usage, and observability signals to validate requirements and debug issues
- • Experience with BI and self-service analytics tools, including governance, performance, cost, and their role in AI/natural-language analytics
- • Working knowledge of data governance, classification, access control, data quality, and observability practices on a shared platform
- • Hands-on exposure to AI-assisted or natural-language analytics tooling, with judgment to ground answers in governed data and assess guardrails, accuracy, latency, and trust
- • Familiarity partnering with data science and machine-learning teams to support their data access, performance and monitoring needs
- • Proven ability to build and execute multi-quarter, multi-team plans, make trade-offs, and maintain delivery discipline in agile environments
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence senior leaders
- • A friendly, flexible, pragmatic, and curious disposition with a desire to learn and raise the bar for data, platform, and product teams
- • Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for team gatherings and events
