- • The ECH Application Specialist is responsible for provisioning, configuring, and supporting Motorola Solutions’ Emergency Call Handling (ECH) applications to ensure public safety customers can respond faster and make smarter, safer decisions. This role is critical to delivering reliable, mission-critical technology that protects communities, schools, hospitals, and businesses.
- • Day to day, the specialist performs system provisioning for ECH applications, documents configuration changes, communicates with customers to assess business needs and define system requirements, provides technical and administrative training, troubleshoots issues as a subject matter expert, and supports cutover and handoff to support teams. They collaborate with sales, deployment, product, and support teams to align solutions with customer objectives and ensure timely, accurate delivery.
- • The Software Enterprise Deployment and Integration team at Motorola Solutions focuses on delivering public safety technology solutions, including Emergency Call Handling, 911 Equipment, Computer Aided Dispatch, and Records Management Systems. The team is committed to enabling customers to focus on their mission by providing tools that improve response times and decision-making in high-stakes environments.
- • In this role, the individual will deepen their expertise in public safety communications systems, gain hands-on experience with ECH provisioning and troubleshooting, develop instructional and training capabilities, and build strong internal and external relationships. They will stay current with emerging 911 technologies and MSI product ecosystems, positioning themselves as a trusted advisor in public safety technology deployment.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma, Associates Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Computer Science, Emergency Management, IT, or Technology
- • 3+ years of experience in Software Provisioning or Deployment, Public Safety, Technical Training, or Instructional Design
- • Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by government customers
