Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end growth strategy for Fender’s direct-to-consumer eCommerce business across North America, EMEA and APAC, translating brand equity into measurable revenue gains and market share expansion.
- • Lead A/B, multivariate and cohort testing roadmaps for product pages, checkout flows, search, merchandising and on-site campaigns; turn insights into rapid, data-driven optimizations that lift conversion rate, average order value and lifetime value.
- • Partner with Product, Engineering, UX and Data Science to prioritize and ship high-impact features—ranging from personalization engines to subscription bundles—while balancing technical debt, site performance and brand storytelling.
- • Build and manage a rolling 12-month growth calendar that aligns product launches, artist collaborations, paid media bursts and seasonal promotions with inventory forecasts and margin targets.
- • Own weekly, monthly and quarterly KPI dashboards (traffic, CVR, AOV, ROAS, CAC, LTV) and present findings to C-suite stakeholders; translate complex data into clear narratives that influence budget allocation and cross-functional roadmaps.
- • Deep-dive into customer segmentation using SQL, GA4, Amplitude and Looker to uncover behavioral patterns by geography, instrument type, skill level and acquisition channel; craft targeted offers and lifecycle emails that nurture beginners into lifelong players.
- • Manage a seven-figure annual paid search and paid social budget in collaboration with the Growth Marketing team; continuously refine bidding strategies, creative rotation and landing-page alignment to exceed ROAS targets while protecting brand integrity.
- • Spearhead SEO initiatives—technical audits, schema markup, content hubs and backlink strategy—to capture high-intent organic traffic for guitars, amps, pedals and accessories, ensuring Fender outranks competitors for non-branded and long-tail queries.
- • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Merchandising to optimize on-site inventory availability, back-in-stock alerts and dynamic pricing rules that maximize sell-through without eroding margin.
- • Drive the global rollout of localized storefronts (currency, language, tax, shipping) by working with regional GMs, legal and logistics teams; ensure consistent UX while respecting cultural nuances and regulatory requirements.
- • Mentor a distributed team of growth analysts, merchandisers and junior PMs; foster a culture of experimentation, psychological safety and continuous learning through retros, lunch-and-learns and external conference attendance.
- • Champion accessibility, privacy and sustainability best practices across the digital experience, partnering with Legal and CSR to implement GDPR/CCPA compliance, carbon-neutral shipping options and inclusive design standards.
- • Stay ahead of eCommerce trends—headless commerce, Web3 loyalty programs, AI-driven product recommendations—and run quarterly innovation sprints to pilot emerging technologies that could differentiate Fender in a crowded market.
- • Own vendor relationships with Shopify Plus, ReCharge, Klaviyo, Yotpo and other MarTech partners; negotiate contracts, manage SLAs and evaluate new tools that can accelerate experimentation velocity.
- • Collaborate with Artist Relations and Content teams to embed shoppable video, live-stream lessons and interactive demos into the site, turning inspiration into immediate purchase intent.
- • Establish governance for promotional codes, affiliate payouts and marketplace pricing to prevent channel conflict and protect premium brand positioning.
- • Create a feedback loop between customer support, product reviews and NPS data to surface pain points and inform iterative UX improvements that reduce return rates and boost customer satisfaction.
