- • The Summer Internship in Audience Development at FloSports offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and visibility of underrepresented sports through strategic content creation and digital engagement. As part of a mission-driven team, the intern will help elevate niche sports like college football, volleyball, grappling, and wrestling by crafting compelling stories that connect fans with live events and exclusive content.
- • This role is ideal for students passionate about sports, digital media, and storytelling who want to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced OTT sports media environment while building a professional portfolio.
- • What the person will do day to day:
- • Create engaging written and multimedia content that promotes live events, highlights athlete stories, and strengthens brand presence across digital platforms.
- • Conduct SEO research using tools like Google Trends to identify trending topics and optimize content for search visibility and audience reach.
- • Develop and execute content strategies for college football, college basketball, and other sports based on current events, historical trends, and audience insights.
- • Write, edit, and format content using Google Docs, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel or Google Sheets, adhering to AP or Chicago Style guidelines.
- • Collaborate with the Content team to support broader goals, including social media promotion and evergreen content development.
- • Participate in on-camera opportunities and multimedia projects when available, gaining experience in video-integrated storytelling.
- • Attend and cover weekend sporting events as needed, requiring flexibility and reliability in scheduling.
- • Meet deadlines consistently and proactively communicate potential delays to supervisors.
- • Receive mentorship and feedback from a dedicated supervisor to support skill development and professional growth throughout the internship.

🎯 Requirements
- • Must be available for a minimum of 20–25 hours per week from May through August, including weekend availability.
- • Proven experience in writing content with basic editing skills and familiarity with AP Style or Chicago Style.
- • Proficiency in Google Docs, PowerPoint, and Excel or Google Sheets for content creation and data tracking.
