- • Electrical Engineer - Natural Gas role focused on providing deep technical expertise and oversight for upcoming natural gas power plant projects, reporting to the Head of Datacenters and Fuels.
- • Lead technical activities for design, engineering, and construction of power plants using natural gas reciprocating engines and/or gas turbines; serve as subject matter expert for electrical systems including generator interfaces, medium- and high-voltage distribution, switchgear, transformers, motor control, grounding, protective relaying, lighting, raceway, and auxiliary systems.

- • Opportunity to shape large-scale, technically sophisticated infrastructure projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and project leaders, and provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers while ensuring compliance with utility, grid interconnection, safety, and industry standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
- • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent strongly preferred
- • 8 or more years of progressive experience in electrical engineering roles within power generation, oil and gas, or heavy industrial sectors
- • Extensive technical expertise in design, construction, and operation of natural gas power plants, including electrical systems for reciprocating engine and gas turbine facilities
- • Proven experience reviewing and validating complex electrical designs from EPC contractors for large-scale projects
- • Strong knowledge of medium-voltage and high-voltage power systems, generator interconnection, protection and control philosophies, relay coordination, and power system studies
