- • As an Email Marketing Growth Manager at Ruby Labs Ltd., you will be at the forefront of driving significant business expansion through the strategic and experimental optimization of our email marketing channels. Your primary mission will be to maximize the impact of email as a critical growth engine for our innovative consumer products across the health, education, and entertainment sectors.
- • This role is deeply rooted in a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making. You will be entrusted with the end-to-end ownership of the experimentation roadmap for email marketing growth, meticulously designing, prioritizing, and executing A/B tests that span the entire email customer journey.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of testing opportunities, including but not limited to, optimizing subject lines to capture attention, refining preview text for maximum open rates, crafting compelling email body copy that resonates with our audience, and designing effective calls to action that drive desired user behaviors.
- • You will also experiment with content structure to enhance readability and engagement, fine-tune offer presentation to maximize conversion potential, and develop sophisticated lifecycle messaging strategies to nurture leads, onboard new users, and foster long-term customer loyalty and re-engagement.
- • A key aspect of your role will involve developing and prioritizing experiments across two critical growth phases: pre-purchase and post-purchase. For pre-purchase, your focus will be on maximizing conversion volume, ensuring that every email sent effectively guides potential customers towards a purchase decision.
- • In the post-purchase phase, your efforts will be directed towards enhancing user activation, improving retention rates, and implementing effective re-engagement campaigns to bring lapsed users back into the fold. This holistic approach ensures that email marketing contributes to the entire customer lifecycle and overall business success.
- • You will be expected to conduct in-depth analysis of email performance metrics and user behavior patterns. This analytical rigor will be crucial for identifying untapped growth opportunities, pinpointing friction points within the email funnel, and informing the development of new, impactful experiments.
- • A core competency will be your ability to articulate clear testing hypotheses, supported by data and user insights, and to propose strong, persuasive copy variations for each experiment. This requires a blend of analytical thinking and creative copywriting skills.
- • Collaboration is paramount. You will work closely with the dedicated Email Team and the broader Growth Team to translate insights into actionable experiments. You will also partner with these teams on the seamless implementation of tests and campaign changes, ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruption.
- • Measuring and interpreting experiment results will be a daily activity. You will be responsible for identifying winning and losing variations, defining the next steps based on these outcomes, and communicating these findings effectively.
- • Daily reporting of email experiment performance will be a key communication task, shared within the growth Slack channel to keep stakeholders informed and foster a transparent, data-driven environment.
- • You will have direct oversight of the monetary impact of every experiment on the company's top line, demonstrating a clear understanding of how your work contributes to financial success.
- • Maintaining a well-organized backlog of email growth experiments and meticulously documenting all learnings will be essential for building institutional knowledge and ensuring that past insights inform future strategies.
- • Continuous market and competitor research will be a vital part of your role, enabling you to generate novel hypotheses and innovative experiment ideas that keep Ruby Labs at the cutting edge of email marketing.
- • Finally, you will collaborate with data and product stakeholders to ensure that all experiments are strategically aligned with and contribute to measurable business outcomes, reinforcing the link between marketing efforts and company objectives.
