- • Vetcove is seeking a highly motivated and creative Email Marketing Manager to drive innovative marketing initiatives and modernize the veterinary software industry. This role is pivotal in enhancing the pet parent healthcare experience through a market-leading procurement marketplace, an e-commerce home delivery platform, and a next-generation practice management system. With over 25,000 hospitals relying on Vetcove daily, supporting tens of millions of pets annually, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of animal health, a $50 billion+ industry.
- • As the Email Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in testing new ideas, crafting engaging content, and optimizing marketing programs to introduce veterinarians and pet parents to the Vetcove platform. This is an exceptional opportunity for an email marketing specialist eager to build and lead our email marketing strategy from the ground up.
- • You will spearhead lifecycle marketing efforts across the entire customer journey, with a primary focus on optimizing e-commerce email performance. This involves transitioning from generic mass email blasts to sophisticated, personalized campaigns designed to generate measurable Return on Investment (ROI) and incremental revenue.
- • A key responsibility will be building and refining audience segments and automated customer journeys. These initiatives will aim to boost engagement, drive conversions, and improve customer retention, all while aligning with defined Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals.
- • You will own the complete strategy and execution of consumer email initiatives. This encompasses everything from campaign ideation and compelling copywriting for subject lines and body content, to basic template creation, coordinating assets, rigorous Quality Assurance (QA), and final deployment.
- • Close collaboration with the Engineering team is essential to define necessary events and triggers, ensuring seamless data flow that underpins effective lifecycle automation.
- • You will be responsible for launching and optimizing targeted campaigns and customer journeys, armed with clear hypotheses, robust testing plans, and a focus on measurable revenue impact.
- • Owning the A/B testing roadmap is a critical aspect of this role. You will design experiments, execute tests, meticulously track results, and translate data-driven insights into actionable improvements for email performance.
- • Your testing efforts will span across various elements including subject lines, messaging, Calls to Action (CTAs), segmentation strategies, customer cohorts, send-time optimization, and personalization techniques to maximize campaign effectiveness.
- • Partnering with the design team and other cross-functional stakeholders will be key to evolving creative direction, layouts, and templates, utilizing tools such as Figma and internal administrative systems.
- • You will manage and maintain the marketing calendar, ensuring strict alignment with overarching business priorities and fostering collaboration between B2B and consumer marketing teams.
- • Producing regular, comprehensive reports on campaign effectiveness is a core duty. This includes tracking metrics such as opens, clicks, conversions, revenue generated, performance lift, and unsubscribe rates, with a strong emphasis on demonstrating incremental impact.
- • Measuring and analyzing the ROI and overall effectiveness of all lifecycle marketing initiatives will be crucial. You will provide data-backed recommendations for scaling successful strategies and iterating on those that require improvement.
- • Contributing to a small, dynamic, and collaborative team environment is highly valued. This involves bringing initiative, generating fresh ideas, and embodying a strong test-and-learn mindset to continuously enhance our marketing efforts.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact a rapidly growing, mission-driven company backed by top investors, contributing to the modernization of the veterinary industry.
