- • Sibylline Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Embedded Global Intelligence and Crisis Management Specialist to join our team and provide critical support to a global consulting client. This unique, embedded role offers a dynamic blend of responsibilities, equally split between the vital fields of intelligence analysis and crisis management. You will be at the forefront of identifying, analyzing, and advising on a wide spectrum of adverse security conditions that could potentially impact our client's global operations, leveraging the latest industry tools and best practices.
- • Your expertise will be crucial in developing proactive security strategies and ensuring the client is well-prepared for any eventuality. This includes the meticulous production of regular intelligence briefs, such as daily updates, bi-weekly analyses, monthly reports, and annual forecast briefs, all tailored for the client's Global Safety and Security (GSS) team and other key internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for monitoring a diverse range of proprietary data sources, engaging with service providers, and meticulously sifting through open-source information to proactively generate actionable security and geopolitical risk insights.
- • A significant part of your role will involve drafting comprehensive threat and risk assessments. These assessments will cover a variety of scenarios, including risks to client events, the safety of their travelers, and other critical internal operations. By staying ahead of potential threats, you will ensure that both the GSS and Crisis Management teams are consistently informed and prepared to address emerging crises. Your vigilance in intelligence monitoring will be a cornerstone of the client's security posture.
- • In the realm of crisis management, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the client's preparedness. This includes managing and updating crisis management plans and associated documentation within the client's mass notification system, ensuring that templates, checklists, and emergency protocols are current and readily accessible. You will also serve as a key point of contact, assisting with technical inquiries from stakeholders regarding travel security, intelligence resources, and crisis management services, providing clear and concise guidance.
- • Your contribution extends to the practical execution of crisis preparedness exercises. You will be instrumental in assembling content for biannual crisis team tabletop exercises and workshops, actively participating in these sessions to refine response strategies. Furthermore, you will initiate and support incident management processes by coordinating crucial meetings with internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration during critical events.
- • During active incidents, you will provide essential support to regional crisis teams. Your responsibilities may include taking on scribe duties to meticulously document proceedings, conducting vital welfare checks to ensure the safety of personnel, and efficiently parsing response data to provide real-time situational awareness. This hands-on involvement ensures that response efforts are well-documented and informed.
- • Beyond immediate incident response, you will conduct protective intelligence and due diligence investigations. These investigations are vital for analyzing persons of interest (POIs), assessing threats to client events and operations, and supporting executive protection needs. Your analytical skills will be key in providing the client with the information necessary to make informed decisions regarding security and risk mitigation.
- • As an integral member of a focused, high-performing team, you will contribute to the delivery of lean, high-impact security services. Your ability to work collaboratively, adapt to evolving needs, and maintain a strong focus on client objectives will be paramount. This role demands a proactive, solutions-oriented approach, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive security and intelligence information.
- • The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to the client's offices in Central London and Egham as required. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with a preferred schedule of 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, though core hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Occasional weekend monitoring on a rotational basis and potential work outside regular hours for emergencies are expected, reflecting the dynamic nature of global security.
🎯 Requirements
- • Approximately 3-5 years of prior experience supporting intelligence and crisis management projects with a global or regional scope.
- • Deep knowledge and experience of geopolitical and security issues across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions, with a strong understanding of crisis management, response, and health and safety procedures in corporate environments.
- • Advanced research, intelligence gathering, and analytical skills with the proven ability to interpret complex data sets and inform on risks, threats, and vulnerabilities to commercial operations.
- • High-level competency with MS Office tools and preferred experience with mass employee notification systems (e.g., Onsolve). Additional experience with OSINT tooling (e.g., Factal, Ontic) is preferred.
- • Fluency in English (both written and verbal) and full existing authorization to live and work in the UK.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
- • Opportunity to work in a challenging and dynamic embedded role with a leading global consulting client.
- • Access to cutting-edge intelligence and crisis management tools and technologies.
- • Professional development and training opportunities.
- • A collaborative and supportive team environment within Sibylline Ltd.
