📋 Description
- • Own the full engagement lifecycle for enterprise accounts, from pilot scoping and proof-of-concept delivery through onboarding, platform activation, and executive business reviews, ensuring clear outcomes: expansion, renewal, or honest fit assessment.
- • Present directly to C-suite and senior marketing leadership at Fortune 500 and high-growth brands, translating AI search visibility data into business outcomes, defending methodology under scrutiny, and delivering board-ready ROI readouts during kickoffs, mid-pilot check-ins, and quarterly business reviews.
- • Drive customer onboarding and platform adoption by identifying key stakeholders, configuring the Scrunch platform for specific use cases, ensuring team training, and proactively intervening when activations stall to prevent churn.
- • Design and document repeatable engagement frameworks, onboarding playbooks, milestone templates, and escalation paths—building the foundational processes for a function that currently has no established playbook.
- • Act as the critical bridge between pre-sales (Account Executives, Solutions Engineering) and post-sales (Customer Success, Product), feeding real-time customer insights back into product positioning, sales strategy, and feature development.
- • Create high-impact, execution-focused content such as kickoff decks and executive summaries, prioritizing clarity and impact over production volume, ensuring stakeholders at all levels understand value and next steps.
- • Manage multiple enterprise engagements simultaneously with precision, maintaining tight timelines, clear ownership, and defined milestones without relying on formal project management certifications but demonstrating strong project management instincts.
- • Work closely with technical teams to understand SaaS platform configuration, data flows, and system integrations, enabling credible, confident conversations with both marketers and engineers during customer interactions.
- • Operate autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment where role definition is fluid, requiring initiative to build systems from scratch, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and deliver results without established processes.
- • Ensure customers achieve measurable value within 30 days of onboarding, driving adoption and retention through structured, repeatable processes that scale across the customer base.
- • Contribute to product improvement by synthesizing feedback from live engagements and communicating actionable insights to Product and Engineering teams to refine features, messaging, and onboarding workflows.
- • Maintain a customer-centric mindset focused on transforming Scrunch from a vendor into a strategic partner, evidenced by executive stakeholders viewing the company as indispensable to their AI discovery strategy.
- • Adapt quickly to new SaaS tools, CRMs, and project management platforms, learning technical concepts rapidly to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Product teams to align on customer goals, resolve blockers, and ensure seamless handoffs between sales and post-sale phases.
- • Identify and mitigate risks early in the engagement cycle, anticipating adoption challenges before they escalate into account health issues or renewal threats.
- • Contribute to scaling the engagement function by documenting best practices, creating training materials, and mentoring future hires as the team grows.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years in engagement management, professional services, solutions consulting, or customer onboarding at a SaaS or technology company
- • Experience running end-to-end onboarding, pilots, POCs, or proof-of-value engagements with enterprise customers
- • Proven ability to present to and influence CMOs, VPs, and C-suite stakeholders in high-stakes settings
- • Strong project management instincts with a track record of delivering engagements on time, on scope, and with clear ownership
- • Technical comfort with SaaS platforms, data flows, and system configurations, without needing to write code
- • Experience working in a startup or ambiguous environment where defining your own role and processes was required
