📋 Description

• • Engineer II, Software Test (R4786) at Shield AI, Inc. is a critical role focused on ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced autonomous systems used in defense and national security applications. This position contributes directly to mission success by validating software that powers intelligent aircraft like the V-BAT and X-BAT, as well as the Hivemind AI platform.
• • Day to day, the engineer will design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for embedded and real-time software systems; automate test scripts using Python and other tools; collaborate with software and systems engineers to identify defects early; perform hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing; analyze test results, log defects, and drive resolution; and maintain test documentation and traceability to requirements.
