📋 Description

• • As a Senior Threat Detection & Response Engineer at Tide Platform Limited, you will play a critical role in protecting the company by building and maintaining a robust detection and automation platform to defend against evolving cyber threats.
• • Day to day, you will work with SIEM systems to create custom log parsers, configure alert rules, perform log analysis, and tune detections to reduce false positives; develop security automations for tasks like data enrichment and phishing email removal; conduct threat hunting across AWS, GCP, internal applications, and employee endpoints; collaborate on business-specific detection rules; ensure detection quality and system uptime through test-driven development and health monitoring; build internal tools to improve detection efficiency; lead incident investigations; and participate in the security incident response on-call rotation.
• • You will join Tide’s Security Engineering team, which includes Product Security, Identity, and Threat Detection & Response, working collaboratively in a unified team structure with shared standups and Slack channels to ensure alignment across security functions.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud security, threat detection engineering, automation, and incident response while contributing to the protection of over 1.8 million SME members globally; you’ll have the opportunity to lead initiatives, shape detection strategy, and grow as a technical leader in a fast-growing, innovative fintech environment focused on security excellence.
