📋 Description

• • As an Engineering Manager at Coinbase, you will lead and grow engineering teams responsible for building the foundational backend services that power the core of the platform, including identity and financial infrastructure, ensuring high-reliability, low-latency, and high-conformance systems at massive scale.
• • Day to day, you will build and manage engineering teams, coach direct reports for career growth, collaborate with product, design, and leadership to translate vision into quarterly roadmaps, break down complex projects, guide architectural decisions, ensure high-quality code and engineering processes, and contribute to recruiting exceptional engineers aligned with Coinbase’s culture.
• • You will join the Product Foundations team, which architects the bedrock of Coinbase’s platform—handling massive scale in authentication flows and audit-ready ledgers for financial transactions—working in an intense, mission-driven culture focused on increasing economic freedom through crypto and blockchain technology.
