Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• • As an Engineering Manager at Second Nature Health Inc., you will play a dual role as both a hands-on tech lead and people manager, reporting to the VP of Engineering to lead and grow a team of engineers while driving architectural decisions and remaining actively involved in coding, code reviews, and retrospectives.
• • Day to day, you will manage and mentor a high-performing team of 5–10 engineers, conduct regular 1:1s, set career development plans, provide feedback, attract and retain top talent, foster a culture of learning and inclusion, guide the team through prioritization and agile delivery, lead architecture and implementation of critical features, write clean, scalable, and well-tested code, set standards for code quality and security, lead technical reviews and knowledge sharing, collaborate with Product, Executive Leadership, and other stakeholders to define and deliver features, work with other tech leads to set long-term engineering direction, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• • You will join a remote-first, passionate team of 200+ individuals at Second Nature Health Inc., a company building the world’s first resident experience platform that simplifies resident onboarding, services, and ancillary revenue for property managers, with a mission to turn friction into triple-win experiences for residents, investors, and managers by making renting easy and rewarding for everyone.
