You translate ambitious product goals into executable engineering plans, break down complexity, and remove blockers so the team can ship at startup speed while maintaining bank-grade reliability.
• • Hire, mentor, and retain world-class engineers. You source talent through your network, run rigorous interviews, and design onboarding that turns new hires into high-impact contributors within weeks. You set crystal-clear expectations, give candid feedback, and craft growth paths that keep A-players engaged for the long haul.
• • Champion technical excellence and AI adoption across the stack. You review architecture, enforce coding standards, and push for automated testing, observability, and security by design. You lead the rollout of AI-powered tooling—from code-generation to intelligent alerting—so engineers spend more time solving user problems and less time on boilerplate.
• • Build resilient, scalable systems that handle 600 k users today and 10× tomorrow. You partner with SRE to define SLIs/SLOs, run blameless post-mortems, and invest in infrastructure that keeps latency low and uptime high even during market volatility spikes.
• • Drive cross-functional alignment. You sit at the intersection of Product, Design, Data, and Compliance, translating business priorities into technical trade-offs everyone understands. You represent engineering in quarterly planning, ensuring roadmap decisions balance user delight, regulatory constraints, and long-term platform health.
• • Foster a culture of ownership and continuous learning. You run weekly tech talks, sponsor hack-days, and encourage experimentation with new languages, frameworks, and AI models. You celebrate wins loudly and turn failures into shared lessons that level-up the entire org.
• • Scale the engineering organization. You refine hiring processes, define squad topology, and codify onboarding playbooks so Finary can double headcount without losing velocity or culture. You’re the guardian of our bar-raiser mindset, ensuring every new hire elevates the team.
• • Be the voice of the user inside engineering. You dog-food the product, analyze user feedback, and prioritize fixes that unblock investors on their journey to financial freedom. Your empathy for retail investors shapes every architectural and product decision.
