- • Lead the planning and delivery of engineering initiatives, ensuring projects meet quality standards, timelines, and business goals; drive clarity in priorities and execution across the team
- • Establish and maintain effective engineering processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and technical design reviews; continuously refine team rituals to enable high-quality, predictable delivery
- • Partner with senior leadership to shape and execute the technical vision, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs
- • Work closely with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to align engineering efforts with user needs and business objectives; enable teams to solve complex problems and deliver impactful solutions
- • Build and grow a high-performing engineering team through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management
- • Foster a collaborative, feedback-driven environment that supports continuous learning and professional development; encourage mentorship and knowledge sharing while creating opportunities for team development
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of full-stack software development experience, ideally within a high-growth B2B SaaS or fintech environment, along with 1-3 years in a people management role
- • Strong technical foundation and a proven track record of shipping high-quality products; experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, and AWS is a plus
- • Passionate about building and scaling engineering teams, and deeply invested in growing and developing people to do their best work
- • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, and bring calm and clarity in times of ambiguity and change
- • Pragmatic decision-maker with a customer-centric mindset, able to navigate tradeoffs around scope, technical debt, and timelines while keeping customer needs front and center
- • Ability to think creatively and resourcefully, embracing experimentation and AI to solve complex problems within resource constraints
