Engineering Manager (Application & Check Out)

📋 Description

• • As an Engineering Manager for the Application & Check Out team at Bestow, you will lead the consumer-facing application and purchase experience for life insurance products, driving end-to-end delivery from application to policy issuance in a high-impact, fast-moving environment where quality and velocity are critical.
• • You will work directly with engineering, product, design, TPM, and external stakeholders to introduce new features, support existing products, mentor engineers, set roadmaps, drive delivery of high-quality initiatives, and contribute technically through code reviews, system design, and direct coding when needed.
• • You will join Bestow’s engineering organization, which includes product engineering, infrastructure, IT, data and analytics, martech, and program management, collaborating closely with frontend platform and upstream teams to define and prioritize the product roadmap.
• • In this role, you will develop leadership and technical expertise by driving AI-augmented engineering practices, improving team performance, mastering full-stack delivery (React, Remix/Next.js, GoLang/Python), and shaping scalable, reliable systems that power life insurance innovation at scale.
