Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end success of up to 10 engineers split into small, autonomous, cross-functional squads that build and operate Feegow’s core healthcare platform serving thousands of clinics and millions of patients across Brazil.
- • Drive predictable, high-quality delivery by defining clear sprint goals, refining backlogs with Product, and enforcing rigorous code-review, testing, and deployment standards that keep our services above 99.9 % availability.
- • Shape the technical roadmap in partnership with Staff Engineers and Product Directors—turning ambiguous business goals into concrete quarterly OKRs, architecture blueprints, and staffing plans that scale from MVP to nationwide roll-out.
- • Act as the primary escalation point for stakeholders ranging from C-level executives to clinic administrators, translating complex technical trade-offs into concise business impact so every decision is transparent and data-driven.
- • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by instituting blameless post-mortems, quarterly health-checks, and 360-degree feedback loops that raise engineering excellence and psychological safety in equal measure.
- • Mentor and grow future leaders through individualized development plans, weekly 1:1 coaching, and stretch assignments that move engineers from mid-level to senior and senior to staff within 12–18 months.
- • Champion remote-first best practices—async stand-ups, clear documentation, and inclusive rituals—so that talent anywhere in Brazil can contribute at the same high bar as our Rio hub.
- • Partner with Talent Acquisition to define role scorecards, run technical interviews, and close candidates in a hyper-competitive market while keeping diversity, equity, and inclusion at the center of every hiring decision.
- • Monitor operational health via SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and on-call rotations; when incidents occur, lead the war-room, coordinate fixes, and ensure lessons are codified into runbooks and automated safeguards.
- • Contribute to the broader Docplanner engineering community by sharing post-mortems, reusable libraries, and architectural patterns that accelerate innovation across all of our global markets.
- • Balance short-term delivery pressure with long-term sustainability—refactoring legacy monoliths into event-driven microservices, migrating to Kubernetes, and leveraging data pipelines that turn appointment logs into actionable insights for doctors and patients alike.
- • Report directly to the Engineering Director, presenting monthly progress on OKRs, budget forecasts, and risk mitigation plans that secure executive sponsorship for your most ambitious bets.
