📋 Description

• As an Engineering Manager for the Application Enablement team within the Foundations group at Perk.com Inc., you will lead a group of experienced engineers responsible for building and evolving the shared infrastructure underlying Perk's web, iOS, and Android platforms. This role is critical to enabling high-impact foundational work that supports product teams across the business and ensures engineering quality at scale.
• Day to day, you will be accountable for the delivery and personal development of your team(s), act as a servant leader adapting your style to team needs, manage individual performance through coaching and mentoring, serve as a technical champion ensuring systems meet organisational standards, enable fluent collaboration, and develop long-term strategy and roadmap aligned with tribe mission and product goals.
• You will join a global engineering team of over 1,800 people across 12 offices, working in a culture driven by ownership, 7-star experiences, and teamwork. • In this role, you will learn to balance immediate delivery with long-term platform sustainability, shape technical direction for multi-platform systems, grow your leadership in AI-augmented engineering workflows, and contribute to strategic initiatives like synthetic monitoring, SDLC acceleration, and contextual notifications—all while helping Perk’s builders ship faster and with greater confidence across every product surface.

🎯 Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience managing software engineers, with specific experience managing 8-10 software engineers
• Technical background in software engineering as a hands-on individual contributor (IC)
• Experience managing larger teams requiring delegation, process building, and systems thinking
• Ability to act as a problem finder and solver both technically and organisationally to unblock team performance
• Experience running effective performance reviews that align team growth with business needs and individual aspirations
• Pragmatism, obsession for simplicity, efficiency, and performance, with ability to adapt quickly to changing environments
• Experience with or strong interest in AI-augmented workflows, including agentic development and custom agentic skills
