- • Lead and grow a high-performing team focused on advancing Flock's multimodal search and retrieval systems, including embedding models, vector storage, and cross-modal search capabilities for image and text queries.
- • Own the technical direction and execution of multimodal model development, evaluation, deployment, and lifecycle management to ensure fast, accurate, and scalable search experiences.
- • Partner with product, search, data engineering, and platform teams to align roadmap priorities with business impact while fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous learning.
- • Mentor and develop engineers through technical leadership, code reviews, architectural guidance, and structured feedback to support individual growth and long-term career development.
