📋 Description

• • As an Engineering Manager for Site Reliability Engineering at Kraken, you will lead a 4–6-person generalist SRE team embedded within product engineering organizations, bridging the gap between development needs and infrastructure strategy to ensure system reliability, security, and developer productivity.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include owning the SRE roadmap end-to-end, setting priorities independently, driving execution, and making the team’s impact visible across the organization; acting as the infrastructure voice for your business unit by translating upstream roadmaps into product-specific plans and advocating team needs upstream; driving compliance, security, and infrastructure initiatives by identifying risks early and owning resolution before escalation; shaping developer productivity by engaging with product engineering managers to surface pain points and lead platform improvements; contributing technical credibility to architectural discussions using your operational experience; owning your business unit’s workstream in company-wide infrastructure migrations through hands-on technical leadership; and leading your team through regular 1:1s, performance cycles, and meaningful career development.
