- • Responsible for overseeing all preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities for production equipment in a home care manufacturing facility.
- • Ensure full compliance with SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) framework standards during all maintenance operations.
- • Maintain safe working conditions by enforcing machine interlocks, safeguards, and protection of moving parts.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve major, chronic, and sporadic equipment defects to minimize production downtime.
- • Implement and manage a mentorship program to transfer technical skills from engineers to production operators.
- • Extend equipment lifecycle through effective corrective maintenance and support early management activities within TPM pillars.
- • Monitor and ensure adequate availability of spare parts to execute preventive maintenance schedules effectively.
- • Drive cost reduction initiatives for repair and maintenance activities across the factory.
- • Improve production line efficiency by identifying and eliminating root causes of recurring breakdowns.
- • Develop and propose operational improvement ideas for assigned areas of responsibility.
- • Actively participate in cross-functional improvement teams and initiatives.
- • Conduct performance analysis using root cause techniques such as Why-Why, Fishbone, and other problem-solving methodologies.
- • Lead improvement projects from concept through to full implementation.
- • Present improvement projects and findings to internal teams and external auditors or visitors.
- • Operate production lines during innovation trials and compile detailed trial reports.
- • Oversee line operations during new machine commissioning and ramp-up phases.
- • Support all TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) pillars with active involvement and leadership.
- • Lead a team of 2–3 engineers and multiple technicians, providing direction, coaching, and performance oversight.
- • Demonstrate leadership by modeling resilience, high performance, and continuous improvement mindset.
- • Focus on consumer needs and use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for operational enhancement.
- • Maintain high standards of personal accountability and wellbeing while fostering a culture of inclusion and collaboration.
🎯 Requirements
- • University graduate with 2–3 years of experience in the home and personal care industry using similar technologies
- • Full operational knowledge of automation and instrumentation systems
- • Working knowledge of Safety and Quality standards
- • Fully operational experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) framework
