- • The Enrollment/Billing Representative role at The Cigna Group supports the Accredo team in delivering in-depth care for patients with chronic health conditions by ensuring accurate billing, timely reimbursement, and resolution of financial account issues.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing claims for billing accuracy, pursuing collections from payers and patients, managing outstanding payments, following up on delinquent accounts, escalating complex claims, setting up and reconciling bank and customer accounts, and providing financial support for billing functions.
- • The Accredo team within The Cigna Group specializes in specialty pharmacy services for patients with complex conditions such as hemophilia, oncology, rheumatoid arthritis, and growth hormone deficiency, offering comprehensive care management and reimbursement services.
- • This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in healthcare billing, claims processing, and reimbursement systems while contributing directly to patient access to vital medications and services in a mission-driven organization focused on improving health outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • HS diploma or GED required
- • 2+ years of relevant work experience in billing, claims, payment processing, or co-pay assistance
- • PC skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills
- • Ability to work an 8-hour shift Monday-Friday with flexible start time between 7am-9am EST
