- • As an Enterprise Account Executive at dbt Labs, you will be at the forefront of driving growth and managing our most significant customer relationships within the enterprise sector. This role demands a proactive, curious, and results-oriented individual with a strong hunter mentality, essential for identifying new business opportunities and expanding our footprint within existing accounts.
- • You will be responsible for building, nurturing, and closing your own pipeline of companies that stand to benefit immensely from the dbt Cloud offering. This involves a deep understanding of customer needs and a strategic approach to demonstrating the value proposition of our platform.
- • Beyond acquiring new logos, you will play a crucial role in managing and deepening the dbt Cloud presence in existing enterprise accounts. This entails optimizing our impact, ensuring customer success, and identifying opportunities for expansion and upselling, thereby maximizing the value delivered to these organizations.
- • Collaboration is key in this role. You will engage actively with technology partners and ecosystem service providers to amplify our reach and enhance our impact within the UK market. This collaborative effort will be instrumental in driving broader adoption and success for dbt Labs.
- • You will be a key contributor to the continuous improvement of our sales processes. By leading and participating in team projects, you will help refine our strategies, share best practices, and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales team.
- • A critical aspect of this role involves working closely with the product team to shape and maintain the enterprise roadmap for dbt Cloud. Your insights from the field will directly influence product development, ensuring that dbt Cloud continues to meet the evolving needs of enterprise customers.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrable ability to build and close complex sales cycles within enterprise accounts, consistently exceeding targets. This requires a strategic mindset, exceptional negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the enterprise sales landscape.
- • With over 4 years of closing experience in technology sales, you will bring a proven track record of exceeding annual targets. Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently deliver against ambitious goals.
- • A core competency will be your ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into compelling, consultative sales narratives. You will need to articulate the technical advantages and business value of dbt Cloud to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- • Exceptional verbal, written, and in-person communication skills are paramount. You will engage with stakeholders across all levels of an analytics organization, from individual developers to Chief Technology Officers, tailoring your message to resonate with each audience.
- • The role requires the diligence and organizational prowess to navigate long, intricate sales cycles that often involve multiple client teams and decision-makers. Meticulous planning and execution are essential for success.
- • You must be comfortable operating in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience as you navigate the dynamic landscape of the data technology market.
