- • As an Enterprise Account Executive at dbt Labs, you will be at the forefront of driving growth and managing our expanding enterprise customer base. This role is designed for a proactive and curious individual with a strong hunter mentality, dedicated to identifying new business opportunities and nurturing growth within existing client accounts.
- • You will be responsible for building, managing, and closing your own pipeline of companies that can significantly benefit from the dbt Cloud offering. This involves a deep understanding of potential clients' data challenges and demonstrating how dbt's platform provides a robust solution.
- • Beyond new business acquisition, you will also focus on managing and deepening the dbt Cloud footprint within existing enterprise accounts. This includes optimizing our impact, ensuring customer success, and identifying opportunities for expansion and upselling.
- • A key aspect of this role involves engaging with technology partners and ecosystem service providers within the region. This collaboration is crucial for enhancing our reach, optimizing our impact, and building a stronger presence in the market.
- • You will have the opportunity to lead and contribute to strategic team projects aimed at developing and refining our sales processes. This involves sharing insights, best practices, and innovative approaches to improve overall sales effectiveness.
- • Collaboration with the product team is essential, where you will contribute to building and maintaining the enterprise roadmap for dbt Cloud. Your insights from the field will directly influence the future development of our platform.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrable ability to build and close their own pipeline within complex enterprise accounts. This requires a strategic approach to sales, understanding long sales cycles, and navigating multiple stakeholder levels.
- • With over 4 years of closing experience in technology sales, you will have a proven track record of consistently exceeding annual targets. Your success will be measured by your ability to drive revenue and expand dbt's market share.
- • A critical skill is the ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into a compelling, consultative sales narrative. You will need to articulate the value proposition of dbt Cloud to both technical and business stakeholders.
- • Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills are paramount. You will engage with stakeholders at all levels of an analytics organization, from individual developers to Chief Technology Officers, ensuring clear and persuasive communication.
- • The role demands diligence and strong organizational skills to effectively manage long, intricate sales cycles that often involve multiple client teams and decision-makers.
- • You must be comfortable operating in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
- • A genuine passion for being an inclusive teammate and an active, contributing member of the dbt Labs community is highly valued. We foster a collaborative and supportive culture.
- • While not strictly required, experience with SQL or a strong willingness to learn is beneficial, as it will aid in understanding the technical underpinnings of our product and customer needs.
- • Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software will provide a significant advantage, allowing you to quickly grasp the nuances of our market and product.
- • Direct knowledge of or prior experience with dbt itself is a strong plus, enabling you to leverage existing expertise from day one.
- • This role is based in France and requires you to be located there, contributing to our European market growth.
