- • Own the full sales cycle for Joist AI’s flagship platform, targeting Fortune-caliber Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) firms with 500+ employees. You will quarterback deals from first discovery to signed, multi-year enterprise agreements—often exceeding six-figure annual contract values—while acting as the single point of accountability for revenue targets.
- • Build and continuously refine a data-driven account plan for each named prospect, mapping org charts, power structures, and procurement workflows. Leverage intent data, industry events, and warm introductions to penetrate greenfield logos and expand whitespace within existing strategic accounts.
- • Establish trusted-advisor relationships with C-Suite executives (CEO, CTO, CFO), proposal-center directors, and IT security leaders. Translate their strategic imperatives—digital transformation, revenue acceleration, risk mitigation—into quantifiable ROI models and tailored solution roadmaps that position Joist AI as mission-critical infrastructure.
- • Orchestrate complex, multi-threaded sales cycles that routinely include RFI/RFP responses, InfoSec questionnaires, legal redlines, and board-level business cases. You will coordinate internal SMEs across product, engineering, security, and customer success to deliver airtight proposals on aggressive timelines.
- • Negotiate enterprise-grade MSAs, DPAs, and order forms, navigating procurement, legal, and finance gatekeepers to secure favorable terms while protecting Joist AI’s interests. Maintain a disciplined forecast with 95%+ accuracy in Salesforce and proactively surface risk flags to leadership.
- • Evangelize Joist AI’s vision on global stages—AIA, ACEC, ENR FutureTech, and SaaStr—delivering keynote talks, panel discussions, and fireside chats that elevate brand authority and generate high-quality pipeline. You will also author thought-leadership content that positions you as an industry visionary.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing to design ABM campaigns, with product to relay market feedback that shapes the roadmap, and with customer success to craft seamless handoffs that guarantee successful launches and rapid time-to-value.
- • Mentor junior sellers and SDRs, codifying best practices in playbooks, battle cards, and objection-handling sheets that scale our enterprise motion. Contribute to quarterly board decks by sharing win/loss insights and competitive intelligence that inform go-forward strategy.
- • Drive relentless experimentation: pilot new pricing models, vertical-specific packaging, and co-sell motions with channel partners to unlock net-new revenue streams. Report on KPIs including pipeline coverage, win rate, average selling price, and net-revenue retention.
- • Champion a culture of excellence, curiosity, and customer obsession. Celebrate wins loudly, learn from losses transparently, and embody Joist AI’s core values of integrity, craftsmanship, and impact in every interaction.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of quota-carrying Enterprise B2B SaaS sales experience with a consistent record of closing $250K+ ARR deals
- • Demonstrated mastery of complex sales methodologies (MEDDICC, Challenger, or SPICED) applied to 6-18-month cycles
- • Proven ability to build C-Suite relationships and navigate multi-stakeholder consensus within professional services organizations
- • Deep fluency in enterprise procurement, security reviews, legal negotiations, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; existing network within AEC, PropTech, or ConTech strongly preferred
