  • • As a pivotal member of the Sales team at SailPoint Technologies Holdings, Inc., you will step into the role of an Enterprise Account Executive, focusing on driving revenue growth within the Southern California territory.
  • • This position is instrumental in expanding SailPoint's market leadership in Identity Security by engaging with enterprise-level clients, understanding their complex security needs, and presenting tailored solutions.
  • • You will be responsible for exceeding ambitious revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis, directly contributing to the company's financial success and strategic objectives.
  • • A core aspect of your role involves becoming a trusted advisor to clients, meticulously analyzing their unique challenges and requirements during initial engagements and discovery calls to effectively qualify opportunities.
  • • You will need to develop a deep and nuanced understanding of SailPoint's Identity Security solutions, articulating their value proposition with precision and confidence, especially when compared to key competitors such as Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt.
  • • Delivering a superior customer experience from the very first interaction is paramount. This includes leveraging your expertise to competitively position SailPoint's offerings and its broader value proposition, which often encompasses partner services.
  • • Success in this role hinges on your ability to lead and orchestrate a virtual team comprising partner resources, presales engineers, partner managers, deal desk specialists, professional services consultants, business value assessment teams, and customer success managers.
  • • You will act as the central 'quarterback' for your accounts, taking initiative to prepare and guide this virtual team before client interactions, ensuring everyone is aligned and equipped for success.
  • • This role demands strong decision-making skills, including identifying the right individuals to engage, determining the optimal timing for interactions, and holding team members accountable for follow-through.
  • • A critical responsibility is the creation and execution of comprehensive territory and opportunity plans. These plans will outline the strategic steps required to navigate the sales cycle from initial discovery through to closing deals.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the leadership team to refine your strategic ideas and ensure your sales approach is as effective and impactful as possible.
  • • Developing and executing strategic business plans tailored to your assigned territory is essential for sustained success.
  • • Maintaining a high level of customer service, aligned with SailPoint's core values, through consistent engagement with customers and business partners is a key performance indicator.
  • • You will partner with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing plans that reach both end-users and channel partners.
  • • Proactively pursuing all supplied leads and diligently updating internal systems, such as Salesforce, is crucial for pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
  • • Leading the appropriate technical resources to deliver compelling demonstrations of SailPoint's advantages to prospective clients will be a regular part of your responsibilities.
  • • Following up with customers and partners post-sale is vital to ensure consistent and ongoing account coverage, identifying new sales opportunities and fostering long-term relationships.
  • • You will own and oversee all facets of the sales cycle, encompassing lead qualification, persuasive presentations, product demonstrations, responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), complex negotiations, and the final closing process.
  • • Cultivating a profound understanding of your territory, including detailed knowledge of existing customers, prospects, key partners, industry influencers, and competitive landscapes, is fundamental.
  • • You must possess a thorough understanding of the technological strategies employed by both competitive and complementary organizations within the SailPoint market space.
  • • Effectively initiating, navigating, and managing discussions across all hierarchical levels within a customer's organization, from business stakeholders to technical decision-makers, is a required skill.
  • • Diligent utilization of all channel management and reporting tools, including maintaining accurate forecasts and ensuring Salesforce hygiene, is expected.
  • • The role involves a structured approach to success, with defined milestones for the first 1, 3, 4, and 6 months, focusing on territory planning, account segmentation, stakeholder mapping, pipeline development, and strategic market refinement.
  • • This includes establishing plans for existing customers, identifying uplift opportunities, segmenting account lists, meeting with account managers and partners, developing marketing and channel plans, demonstrating Salesforce hygiene, creating stakeholder maps, and presenting territory plans to sales management.
  • • Further milestones involve customer reference planning, pipeline growth strategies, meeting with existing customers to identify expansion opportunities, leading virtual team cadences, and achieving enablement badges.
  • • By the 6-month mark, you will be expected to have built a substantial pipeline (2-3 times target), refined your go-to-market strategy, and demonstrated a strong understanding of competitive positioning and partner benefits.
  • • This role offers a significant opportunity to impact enterprise security strategies and grow your career within a recognized market leader.
