- • Blue J, Inc. is seeking a high-performing Enterprise Account Executive (AE) to join our rapidly growing B2B SaaS company, a leader in generative AI solutions for tax professionals. This pivotal role is designed to drive strategic growth across a defined territory of enterprise accounts, focusing on acquiring new logos, expanding existing customer relationships, and closing complex, six-figure SaaS licensing agreements. As a category-defining AI company, we've consistently exceeded revenue targets and are on an accelerated growth trajectory, fueled by our recent $122M USD Series D funding. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a mission-driven culture where your work directly contributes to advancing clarity, efficiency, and accessibility in tax research, while also sharing in our long-term success through competitive compensation and stock options.
- • As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be instrumental in expanding our market footprint within the accounting vertical. Your primary responsibilities will include engaging and closing new enterprise customers, developing and executing account expansion strategies to increase contract value within existing accounts, and owning a named account list of approximately 20 enterprise accounts. This ownership entails maintaining a deep understanding of each organization's structure, identifying key decision-makers, and thoroughly grasping their unique business challenges and needs.
- • You will be responsible for constructing and executing complex deal cycles, expertly navigating the entire sales process from initial discovery through negotiation and contract signature. This requires a sophisticated understanding of multi-threaded sales, value-based selling methodologies, and the ability to manage long, intricate deal cycles effectively. Success in this role hinges on your ability to build strong relationships with both business and technical stakeholders, fostering trust and demonstrating the tangible value of Blue J's innovative solutions.
- • A critical aspect of this role is disciplined pipeline management. You will be expected to maintain accurate forecasting, ensure pipeline hygiene, and keep CRM data up-to-date. This discipline is crucial for predictable revenue generation and for providing clear visibility into sales performance. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with our marketing, product, and customer success teams to develop compelling proposals, craft winning strategies, and ensure a seamless post-sale experience for our clients. Your insights will also be invaluable in staying current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer needs, enabling you to effectively position our solutions and maintain our competitive edge.
- • This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work primarily remotely while providing opportunities for in-office collaboration at our Toronto office a few times a month as needed. The role also requires up to 20% travel to the United States for client meetings, conferences, and strategic engagements. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada. We are looking for individuals who possess a strategic, consultative selling mindset with a customer-first approach, who are self-motivated and disciplined, and thrive in a quota-driven, fast-paced environment. Strong business acumen, the ability to articulate ROI and value in executive-level discussions, and a passion for technology, innovation, and continuous learning are essential for success. Performance will be measured by annual and quarterly quota attainment (new and expansion ARR), growth in average contract value (ACV) per account, and the quality of your pipeline, including coverage, accuracy, and predictability.
- • At Blue J, we foster a collaborative, ambitious, and supportive team environment that values innovation, respect, and fun. We are committed to a healthy work-life balance and offer a comprehensive benefits package that covers you and your family. You'll be joining a team with clear momentum, backed by the resources to pursue bold initiatives. Our core values—customer-focused, team interest before self-interest, pleasant and playful, open to better ideas, delivering on promises, and solving the toughest problems—guide our interactions and our work. We believe our strength is built on diversity of thought and encourage candidates from all backgrounds and experiences to apply, valuing inclusiveness and operating as an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to a fair, thoughtful, and equitable hiring experience for all candidates, including providing accommodations if needed.
