- • As an Enterprise Account Executive for Auth0 at Okta, you will be at the forefront of driving growth and securing new business within a dynamic and rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape. Your primary mission will be to expand Okta's reach by identifying, cultivating, and closing deals with enterprise-level clients, focusing on organizations that can benefit from Auth0's robust identity and access management solutions.
- • You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive territory plan, meticulously outlining strategies for net-new logo acquisition and the expansion of existing customer relationships. This involves a deep understanding of the market, competitive landscape, and the unique challenges faced by enterprise application development teams, including engineering, product, security, and architecture departments.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve building and nurturing a robust pipeline of sales opportunities. This requires proactive engagement with potential clients, understanding their business objectives, and demonstrating how Auth0's platform can address their critical security and user experience needs. You will be expected to consistently meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets, contributing directly to the company's year-over-year growth.
- • You will identify, target, and gain access to key decision-makers and influencers within prospect organizations. This involves strategic networking, leveraging existing relationships, and building new connections across various levels of technical and business leadership. Your ability to articulate complex technical concepts and translate them into tangible business outcomes will be crucial.
- • The role demands a proactive approach to sales, encompassing the entire sales cycle from initial contact and discovery through to negotiation and closing. You will be adept at scoping complex deals, crafting compelling proposals, and navigating intricate procurement processes to secure agreements that meet and surpass revenue quotas.
- • Collaboration is key to success at Okta. You will work closely with a dedicated ecosystem of internal resources, including Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Presales Engineers, Customer First teams, and Partner Managers. You will also strategically engage and leverage channel partners to identify and unlock new opportunities, amplifying your reach and impact.
- • Travel will be an integral part of this role, allowing you to build and strengthen relationships with customers and prospects through in-person meetings, presentations, and industry events. This face-to-face interaction is vital for understanding client needs, building trust, and fostering long-term partnerships.
- • You will act as a trusted advisor to Application Development teams, educating them on the latest identity threats and solutions. Your deep technical discovery skills will enable you to resonate with the developer community, understanding their pain points and positioning Auth0 as the premier solution for secure and seamless authentication and authorization.
- • The ability to connect technical features and benefits to a company's overarching business objectives is paramount. You will need to demonstrate a strong technical acumen and the capacity to articulate how Auth0 contributes to enhanced security, improved user experience, accelerated digital transformation, and overall business growth.
- • You will be expected to embrace and utilize a recognized sales framework, such as MEDDPICC, to ensure a structured and effective approach to opportunity management and deal execution. This systematic methodology will guide your strategy and enhance your closing capabilities.
- • Ultimately, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption of Auth0's leading identity platform, helping organizations secure their applications and digital assets while empowering their users with secure and frictionless access.
