- • As an Enterprise Account Executive at Ironclad, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by selling the company’s AI-powered contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform to large enterprises, directly contributing to the mission of transforming contracts from administrative burdens into strategic assets that accelerate business outcomes.
- • You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting and pipeline generation to negotiation, closing, and post-sale engagement—targeting Fortune 2000 companies and leveraging your expertise in SaaS sales to exceed quota and support Ironclad’s rapid scale in a competitive, high-growth market.
- • You will join a high-performing, mission-driven sales team at a category-defining company recognized as a Leader in the Forrester Wave and Gartner Magic Quadrant for CLM, backed by top-tier investors including Accel, Sequoia, and Y Combinator, and trusted by industry leaders such as Rivian, the World Health Organization, and the Associated Press.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in enterprise SaaS sales, contract lifecycle management, and AI-driven legal technology, while honing your ability to navigate complex organizational structures, influence C-suite stakeholders, and deliver measurable business value—positioning yourself for long-term career growth in a fast-scaling, innovative organization.
- • You will cultivate a self-sufficient, hunter mindset by generating your own pipeline through strategic outreach, networking, and market research, combining inside and field sales tactics to engage prospects across multiple touchpoints and maintain momentum throughout lengthy, complex sales cycles.
- • You will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, customer success, and legal teams to refine messaging, share field insights, and contribute to product feedback loops—ensuring your deals are not only closed successfully but also set up for long-term adoption and expansion.
- • You will embrace a culture of continuous learning and coachability, actively seeking and applying feedback to improve your approach, staying curious about Ironclad’s AI contracting platform and evolving legal tech landscape, and adapting quickly to shifting market demands and internal priorities.
- • You will uphold Ironclad’s values of humility, attention to detail, and big-picture thinking by maintaining rigorous CRM hygiene, preparing thoroughly for customer interactions, and consistently following through on commitments to build trust and credibility with clients and internal partners alike.
- • You will travel more than 25% of the time to meet with clients in person, attend industry events, and strengthen relationships—balancing remote flexibility with the necessity of face-to-face engagement in enterprise sales.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of proven closing experience in enterprise SaaS sales, with a track record of successfully selling solutions in the $250k–$1M ARR range or to Fortune 2000 companies.
- • Demonstrated ability to generate and manage your own pipeline through proactive hunting, including experience with both inside and field sales motions and full ownership of the sales cycle from lead to close.
- • Strong preference for candidates with prior experience in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ), or legal technology domains, though not required.
- • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to engage executive stakeholders, listen actively, and articulate complex value propositions clearly and persuasively.
- • Self-motivated, disciplined, and highly organized, with a strong internal sense of urgency, humility, and a coachable mindset that embraces feedback and adapts quickly to change.
- • Comfortable with frequent travel (>25%) to client sites and industry events, and able to maintain productivity and engagement while working remotely.
