Azul Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Enterprise Account Executive, Cloud Sales DACH to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in expanding our Platform Prime customer base and significantly increasing revenue.
  • • This is a unique opportunity to become a key player in driving our growth strategy within the German-speaking market. You will be instrumental in acquiring new Platform Prime customers while also strategically cross-selling our advanced solutions into our existing Platform Core client base. Your success will directly contribute to Azul's mission of delivering innovative and high-performance Java runtime solutions that empower businesses to innovate faster and more efficiently.
  • • As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals. You will develop and execute strategic account plans to identify and penetrate key enterprise accounts, understanding their unique business challenges and demonstrating how Azul's Platform Prime can provide tangible value and competitive advantages.
  • • You will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT Directors, architects, and developers. Your ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and compelling manner, tailored to both technical and business audiences, will be crucial for your success. You will need to build strong relationships based on trust and expertise, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to your clients.
  • • Collaboration is key to our success at Azul. You will work hand-in-hand with our dedicated sales engineering and technical support teams. Together, you will craft and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts that showcase the power and benefits of Azul Platform Prime. This collaborative approach ensures that our clients receive comprehensive solutions that meet their specific needs and exceed their expectations.
  • • This role demands a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset. You will be expected to identify new market opportunities, understand competitive landscapes, and develop innovative sales strategies to capture market share. Staying abreast of the latest trends in cloud computing, Java technologies, and enterprise software is essential to effectively position Azul's offerings.
  • • You will manage your sales pipeline meticulously, utilizing CRM tools to track progress, forecast accurately, and ensure timely follow-up on all opportunities. Your ability to prioritize effectively and manage your time efficiently in a remote work environment will be critical.
  • • The primary objective is to achieve and exceed ambitious sales quotas for Platform Prime within the DACH region. This involves not only acquiring new logos but also nurturing and expanding relationships with existing customers, driving adoption and revenue growth through effective upselling and cross-selling initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in enterprise software sales, specifically within the cloud or Java technology space in the DACH region.
  • • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quota-carrying, individual contributor sales role, such as Account Executive or Sales Specialist.
  • • Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing complex enterprise deals.
  • • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, Java technologies, and the enterprise software market.
  • • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
  • • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
  • • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
