  • Chainguard is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Enterprise Account Executive to spearhead our sales efforts within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). This remote-first role is crucial for expanding our market presence and driving revenue by evangelizing the importance of building secure and reliable software. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of introducing Chainguard's innovative solutions to key decision-makers, understanding their challenges, and demonstrating how our technology can fundamentally improve their software development and deployment processes.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute comprehensive sales plans tailored to your assigned territory. This involves identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, managing a robust sales pipeline, and consistently exceeding ambitious sales targets. You will be expected to engage with both inbound and outbound leads, cultivating strong relationships with prospects and customers throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • A core aspect of this role is effectively conveying Chainguard's unique value proposition and product differentiators. You will need to articulate how our guarded open-source software, built from source and continuously updated, addresses critical threats in the software supply chain. This requires a deep understanding of our offerings and the ability to translate technical benefits into tangible business value for enterprise clients.
  • You will manage business relationships and meticulously track all opportunities through our CRM and other supporting sales tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with product management, support teams, and sales engineering to refine and optimize every facet of the sales process. This cross-functional teamwork ensures that we are not only selling effectively but also continuously improving our product and customer experience.
  • A thorough understanding of the competitive landscape is essential. You will need to be familiar with competing companies and their offerings, positioning Chainguard's solutions strategically to highlight our unique advantages and market leadership in secure software supply chains.
  • This role demands a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset. You will be empowered to take ownership of your territory, go the extra mile, and demonstrate a strong work ethic and resourcefulness in navigating complex enterprise sales environments.
