- • Drive the full sales cycle for MariaDB GridGain services, engaging with both existing and new enterprise customers to expand adoption and revenue.
- • Generate and maintain an active, accurate sales pipeline and forecast, ensuring alignment with company SLAs for lead follow-up via phone, email, and social media.
- • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for assigned territories that align with MariaDB’s overall business direction and growth objectives.
- • Close business with enterprise clients by understanding their technical requirements, certifications, and infrastructure needs related to in-memory computing and database solutions.
- • Champion internal alignment within key accounts to influence decision-making and accelerate deal progression through technical and commercial stakeholders.
- • Manage complex enterprise sales cycles requiring coordination with procurement, legal, and business teams to navigate commercial and contractual negotiations.
- • Collaborate with partners including global system integrators and packaged software vendors to support implementation and expand market reach.
- • Prepare and deliver quarterly business reviews to senior management, presenting strategic insights, pipeline health, and growth opportunities.
- • Utilize sales enablement tools such as Salesforce.com, Salesloft, Zoom, Marketo, and Zoominfo to prospect, track opportunities, and optimize outreach efficiency.
- • Maintain a proactive and optimistic approach to prospecting and opportunity development, consistently exceeding personal and team sales quotas.
- • Travel up to 20% to meet with customers, partners, and attend company events across India.
- • Communicate the business value of complex enterprise software solutions to non-technical decision-makers, translating technical capabilities into ROI-driven outcomes.
- • Work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative global environment with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- • Stay informed on evolving trends in distributed databases, in-memory architecture, and open-source software markets to enhance sales effectiveness.
- • Ensure all customer interactions and sales activities comply with company policies and ethical sales practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in database or data management sales, with direct experience selling in-memory caching solutions
- • Proven track record of managing and closing large enterprise sales opportunities
- • Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop, and accelerate sales pipelines using tools like Salesforce.com and Salesloft
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Business Management
- • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to champion solutions within complex accounts
- • Willingness to travel up to 20% to customer and company locations
