- ⢠As an Enterprise Account Executive for Iberia at DeepL, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the companyâs market presence across Spain and Portugal by introducing its market-leading AI-powered Language AI platform to enterprise organizations. This role is critical to DeepLâs mission of becoming the global leader in trusted, intelligent AI technology, directly contributing to revenue growth, customer acquisition, and long-term market penetration in a high-potential region.
- ⢠You will be responsible for growing the Iberian market by identifying, qualifying, and converting high-value enterprise leads, managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract closure, and consistently meeting or exceeding monthly activity, pipeline, and revenue targets. Your day-to-day will involve responding to a high volume of inbound prospects, building and nurturing a robust sales pipeline, pursuing upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts, and serving as a trusted advisor who deeply understands customer use cases and business challenges.
- ⢠You will act as an ambassador for DeepLâs products, developing expert-level knowledge of how the platform solves real-world communication problems for enterprises, enabling you to troubleshoot inquiries, tailor solutions, and position DeepL as the preferred partner for language AI innovation. This requires a consultative sales approach grounded in technical understanding and business acumen.
- ⢠Collaboration is central to your success: you will work closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align messaging, share customer insights, and ensure seamless handoffs throughout the customer journey. Your ability to orchestrate cross-functional efforts will be key to delivering tailored solutions and accelerating deal velocity.
- ⢠You will forecast and track all opportunities with precision, documenting use cases, purchase timelines, decision-makers, and next steps in the CRM to ensure accurate pipeline visibility and reliable revenue forecasting. - ⢠Proven experience in enterprise SaaS sales within the Iberian market, with a track record of selling to large organizations and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder procurement processes.
- ⢠Demonstrated success in selling emerging technologies and winning new logos, including experience expanding within existing enterprise accounts through upselling and cross-selling strategies.
- ⢠Consistent history of overachieving against sales quotas, supported by verifiable performance metrics in previous roles.
- ⢠Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken) to effectively communicate with customers, partners, and internal teams across the region.
- ⢠Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Customer Success, SDRs) and orchestrate efforts to advance deals and improve customer outcomes.
- ⢠Comfort operating in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, with the agility to shift priorities, adapt to change, and thrive amid ambiguity.
