  • • Develop and execute a sales strategy for the Retail vertical, targeting companies in Fashion (Clothing, Footwear & Accessories), Retailers, Home Goods, and Consumer Products.
  • • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and decision-makers to drive account growth and foster long-term partnerships within enterprise clients.
  • • Win and close new business opportunities by leading the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, with a focus on value-based selling that addresses industry-specific challenges including global design and lifecycle management, supply chain optimization, sustainability, and digital transformation.
  • • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of enterprise accounts to increase incremental annual recurring revenue (ARR).
  • • Collaborate with internal teams including product management and technical sales to lead RFP responses and deliver tailored digital solutions aligned with client needs in retail and consumer sectors.
  • • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and advancements in digital manufacturing, AI, sustainability, circularity, and compliance within Fashion, Retail, and Consumer Products industries.
  • • Accurately forecast and manage a pipeline of opportunities using Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools, ensuring alignment with company sales targets and objectives.
  • • Engage senior leadership across enterprise clients to articulate the business value of digital solutions such as PLM, 3D design, CAD, and AI applications in enhancing operational efficiency, innovation, and sustainability.
  • • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles typical of capital-intensive and consumer-oriented retail sectors.
  • • Maintain deep understanding of retail and design processes, supply chain dynamics, and the impact of digital transformation on product development and operations.
  • • Represent PTC at industry events and client meetings, positioning the company as a strategic partner in digital transformation.
  • • Ensure all sales activities, documentation, and client communications adhere to company compliance and ethical standards.
  • • Travel as required to meet with clients and conduct in-person engagement across the United States in support of retail vertical accounts.
  • • Leverage market knowledge to identify new growth opportunities within existing accounts and expand solution adoption across departments.
  • • Maintain rigorous discipline in pipeline hygiene, deal qualification, and forecasting accuracy to support executive leadership and sales planning.
  • • Apply consultative sales techniques to uncover client pain points and align PTC’s digital solutions with strategic business outcomes.
  • • Partner with marketing and customer success teams to ensure seamless handoff and post-sale adoption of sold solutions.
  • • Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure client requirements are met through tailored implementation and ongoing value delivery.
