You will be empowered to build and nurture a robust pipeline, expertly lead discovery sessions and compelling platform demonstrations, develop persuasive business cases, and skillfully negotiate contracts to successful closure.
  • • This is a high-visibility, cross-functional position that demands a high degree of autonomy, consistent and disciplined execution, and the ability to excel in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of a thriving startup. You will be a key player in shaping our enterprise sales strategy and driving significant revenue growth.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to own the enterprise new-business pipeline from inception to completion. This involves meticulously identifying target accounts, conducting in-depth research into their current government contracting posture, and initiating strategic conversations that clearly articulate how GovSignals' unique capabilities can address their most critical needs and challenges.
  • • You will lead highly tailored discovery sessions designed to deeply understand how prospective clients currently source opportunities, build proposals, and manage compliance. Your goal will be to precisely map out how the GovSignals platform can materially compress their time, reduce costs, and mitigate risks within these critical workflows.
  • • Delivering high-impact platform demonstrations will be a core function. You will showcase how GovSignals fundamentally transforms capture and proposal workflows, utilizing real-world examples and relevant data to vividly illustrate the tangible value proposition.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves architecting creative and effective enterprise deal structures. You will navigate complex multi-stakeholder dynamics, understand and work within budget constraints, accommodate various contracting preferences, and address implementation considerations to accelerate the sales cycle and ensure successful contract closure.
  • • You will be expected to proactively shorten sales cycles by anticipating potential blockers, aligning key decision-makers across the organization, and guiding prospects through their evaluation process with exceptional structure and clarity.
  • • Developing compelling business cases and ROI models that quantify the significant benefits of adopting GovSignals will be crucial. This includes demonstrating opportunity expansion, substantial proposal time savings, measurable compliance improvements, and enhanced resource efficiencies enabled by our platform.
  • • Close collaboration with our Product and Engineering teams is essential. You will provide structured, actionable feedback on data needs, workflow refinements, and enterprise feature requests that emerge during your sales engagements, directly influencing our product roadmap.
  • • You will also partner closely with our Client Success team to ensure a seamless and positive handoff from contract signing to client onboarding, setting clear expectations regarding timelines, workflows, and key success milestones.
  • • Representing GovSignals at industry conferences and events will be an opportunity to engage prospects in person, identify high-value conversations, and generate qualified pipeline from these live interactions.
  • • Maintaining disciplined CRM hygiene is paramount. Accurate forecasting, clearly defined next steps, and consistent visibility into all active opportunities are critical for team alignment and strategic planning.
