Enterprise Project Manager (Contract)

📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise-level initiatives, from initial scoping through go-live and post-implementation review, ensuring every milestone is met on time, on budget, and with measurable business impact.
• • Act as the single source of truth for project status, risk, and next steps by maintaining living documentation in Confluence, real-time dashboards in Jira, and concise weekly briefings that keep the Office of the CEO and customer executives equally informed.
• • Translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable work-streams for engineering, product, customer success, and external implementation partners, eliminating ambiguity and accelerating decision-making.
• • Build and nurture trust-based relationships with Fortune-1000 customers, serving as their primary point of escalation and their internal champion inside Coconutsoftware—balancing empathy for their business pressures with firm guardrails on scope and timeline.
• • Proactively surface risks, dependencies, and resource constraints at least two sprints before they become blockers, presenting mitigation options that protect both customer satisfaction and company margin.
• • Design and facilitate cross-functional workshops (discovery, solution design, change-management readiness) that turn high-level strategic goals into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and phased release plans.
• • Drive adoption of a unified project delivery methodology across remote teams in North America and EMEA, incorporating agile ceremonies, stage-gate governance, and outcome-based KPIs that map directly to customer ROI.
• • Champion continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned after every major release, feeding insights back into our playbook, and mentoring junior project coordinators who will scale the PMO’s capacity.
• • Coordinate executive steering-committee meetings, translating technical progress into business language that empowers C-suite sponsors to make rapid funding and prioritization decisions.
• • Ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and customer-specific security requirements by embedding control checkpoints into project schedules and documentation templates.
• • Manage third-party vendors and systems integrators, negotiating SOWs, tracking deliverables, and holding partners accountable to the same quality bar we set internally.
• • Balance competing priorities across multiple concurrent enterprise deployments, using data-driven capacity planning to prevent burnout while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
• • Own the financial health of each engagement, forecasting burn against budget, approving change orders, and ensuring every project closes with a positive gross margin.
• • Serve as a change-agent inside Coconutsoftware, evangelizing best-practice project management techniques that elevate the entire organization’s ability to deliver predictable, scalable outcomes.
