  • • As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Vanta, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our outbound prospecting strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and engage high-value, strategic accounts as we expand our reach into larger, more complex organizations. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to our go-to-market strategy, working in close collaboration with our experienced Account Executives (AEs) to ensure we connect with the right prospects at the most opportune moments.
  • • You will be instrumental in building and nurturing our sales pipeline, acting as the crucial first point of contact for potential Vanta customers. This involves a deep dive into understanding Vanta's comprehensive value proposition and the intricacies of our product, enabling you to articulate how we solve critical security and compliance challenges for businesses.
  • • A core aspect of your role will be mastering the art and science of strategic account identification. You will leverage a sophisticated suite of sales intelligence and engagement tools, including Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and 6Sense, to pinpoint ideal customer profiles and target accounts that align with our upmarket strategy. This data-driven approach will be key to your success.
  • • You will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-channel prospecting strategy, meticulously planning and implementing outreach sequences within our sales engagement platform, Outreach. This involves crafting compelling messaging, optimizing cadences, and ensuring a consistent and effective flow of qualified leads to the AEs.
  • • Your day-to-day activities will include coordinating and scheduling meetings between qualified prospects and Account Executives, ensuring seamless handoffs and efficient calendar management. Accurate and timely logging of all prospecting activities within Salesforce is essential for tracking progress and informing future strategies.
  • • A significant part of this role involves engaging with prospects, which requires not only strong communication skills but also the ability to gracefully and effectively counter objections. You will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, a keen understanding of prospect needs, and a solid grasp of Vanta's technical capabilities to build rapport and establish credibility.

Your ability to act as a self-starter, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices, will be highly valued.
