- • As an Enterprise Sales Engineer at Datadog, you will serve as a technical advisor to the sales team, delivering product demonstrations, leading technical evaluations, and helping close complex enterprise opportunities by translating technical capabilities into business value.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with sales to articulate Datadog’s value proposition, owning technical engagement during customer trials, delivering presentations to prospects, maintaining CRM notes on customer feedback, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to influence feature prioritization based on field insights.
- • You will join a hybrid, collaborative team at Datadog, a global SaaS leader in observability and cloud monitoring, where innovation, diversity of thought, and employee growth are central to the culture.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise sales, technical storytelling, and customer advocacy while gaining exposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies and influencing product direction through real-world customer feedback.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering role
- • Proficiency in programming or scripting with languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.js, PHP, or .NET
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate both technical advantages and business value propositions
- • Willingness and ability to travel up to 45% of the time via car, train, or air, including sitting for up to 4 hours during travel or client visits
