  • • As an Enterprise Strategic Program Manager at Agilent Technologies, Inc., you will be at the forefront of managing and overseeing critical, enterprise-wide service programs within our clients' laboratories. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless delivery of large, integrated support services solutions, often requiring complex coordination across multiple functions, vendors, and technologies.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the Agilent Enterprise Sales team, playing an instrumental role in identifying and developing new sales opportunities. Your expertise will be crucial in designing bespoke Enterprise-level support programs tailored to meet the unique and evolving needs of our external customers. This includes not only the initial design but also ensuring successful implementation and sustained, long-term success of these programs.
  • • A key responsibility involves defining the comprehensive program or project plan. This encompasses establishing the overall budget, organizational structure, detailed timelines, and necessary staffing requirements for custom Enterprise-level support programs. You will be accountable for the strategic direction and operational execution of these initiatives.
  • • Your role will demand a deep understanding of customer needs, translating these into actionable solutions and robust program scopes. You will be expected to work proactively with clients to address and resolve complex operational and business challenges, fostering a partnership built on trust and mutual success.
  • • Developing and managing relationships with third-party service providers will be a significant aspect of your responsibilities. This requires strong negotiation, communication, and oversight skills to ensure these partners meet Agilent's high standards and contribute effectively to program objectives.
  • • You will need to be adept at navigating the regulatory landscape, possessing familiarity with relevant international and local industry regulatory requirements, such as GxP and ISO standards, ensuring all programs operate in full compliance.

  • • You will leverage your experience in customer relationship management to ensure client satisfaction and retention, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • • Cross-functional collaboration will be a daily requirement. You will work seamlessly with various internal teams to achieve program goals, demonstrating strong teamwork and influencing skills.
  • • Creative problem-solving will be a core competency, enabling you to work with teams to overcome obstacles and meet broadly defined objectives, even in ambiguous situations.
  • • Demonstrated leadership capabilities are expected, as you will guide teams and initiatives towards successful outcomes.
  • • Adaptability and the ability to quickly assess dynamic situations and determine appropriate courses of action are crucial in this fast-paced environment.
  • • Rigorous program and/or project management experience is fundamental, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • • Familiarity with common problem-solving methodologies, such as Six Sigma, 5-Why root cause analysis, Ishikawa diagrams, and FMEA, will be advantageous in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • • Experience operating within or managing laboratory settings is a significant advantage, providing valuable context for understanding client operations.
  • • A high level of data literacy is required. You must be proficient in processing information, drawing meaningful insights, and developing data-driven action plans to optimize program performance.
  • • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project, is necessary for daily operations, reporting, and project planning.
  • • This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to manage your responsibilities effectively from a location in Japan.
  • • You will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives that enhance customer operations, improve service delivery, and contribute to Agilent's overall business objectives in the enterprise services sector.
