  • • The Epic Security Analyst - Remote role is critical to ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system at OU Medicine, Inc., directly supporting patient care by maintaining system reliability and resolving technical issues that could disrupt clinical workflows.
  • • Day to day, the analyst will serve as a primary point of contact for resolving complex technical issues, provide end-user support, conduct routine maintenance like software patches and upgrades, coordinate testing and validation of system changes, optimize system performance and usability, collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians and IT staff, maintain detailed documentation, and provide training and mentorship to junior analysts and end-users.
  • • The role sits within the IT Information Security department at OU Medicine, Inc., a healthcare organization committed to delivering secure and efficient health technology solutions, where the analyst contributes to enterprise-wide EHR initiatives that enhance clinical operations and patient outcomes.
  • • In this role, the individual can deepen their expertise in Epic EHR systems, develop advanced troubleshooting and system optimization skills, gain experience in healthcare IT workflows and cross-application integration, and grow into a trusted advisor and mentor within the team, with potential for advancement to higher-level Analyst roles based on qualifications and performance.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • • 3 - 5 years of applicable IT or healthcare experience, with Epic Implementation experience preferred
  • • Epic certification in specified area required; multiple Epic certifications preferred
