- • Conduct research using online grey literature datasets including NHANES, HCUP, cancer registries, and government survey data to summarize current information on disease prevalence.
- • Forecast incidence and prevalence numbers for a variety of diseases using analytical methods, and develop imputation or extrapolation models when country-specific data sources are unavailable.
- • Assist in maintaining and enhancing the company’s sources database to support global epidemiology projects and proprietary consulting initiatives.
- • Perform systematic literature reviews to fulfill ad-hoc client requests for custom or managed service projects.
- • Support the Epi Production team by uploading, aligning, and publishing syndicated epidemiology reports on Clarivate’s Insights Platform or equivalent client-facing platforms.
- • Collaborate with Clarivate Disease or Therapy Experts to design and refine epidemiological methodology strategies tailored to client needs.
- • Analyze large-scale real-world data (RWD) datasets, including NHANES and HCUP, to generate accurate disease burden estimates.
- • Utilize advanced Excel functions for data manipulation, modeling, and reporting purposes.
- • Conduct statistical analyses using SAS software to support epidemiological forecasting and modeling tasks.
- • Deliver presentations and communicate findings directly to external clients, ensuring clarity and alignment with client objectives.
- • Engage in cross-functional collaboration across internal teams to contribute to new product development and global consulting projects.
- • Maintain high standards of written and verbal communication in English for client-facing deliverables, internal documentation, and team coordination.
- • Work remotely while ensuring timely delivery of epidemiological analyses and reports to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or a related field with minimum 3 years of related experience
- • 2 years of experience conducting systematic literature reviews of grey literature
- • 3 years of experience with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), including advanced Excel functions
- • 2 years of experience with epidemiology methodology, including forecasting incidence/prevalence, survival analysis, and risk-factor modeling
- • 2 years of experience analyzing large datasets such as NHANES and HCUP
- • 2 years of experience using SAS statistical software
- • 2 years of experience working with external clients, including delivering presentations
- • Related experience must include work in private consulting companies, CROs, pharmaceutical support research firms, or government statistics/epidemiology departments
- • Experience with real-world data (RWD) research
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
