- • As an EPMO Program Manager at Government Employees Health Association, Inc. (G.E.H.A), you will be instrumental in orchestrating the strategic direction and successful execution of multiple, interconnected projects that collectively form a program aimed at achieving overarching organizational objectives.
- • You will serve as the central point of coordination, working closely with constituent Project Managers to ensure seamless execution of individual projects and to meticulously monitor their impact on the broader program.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass the vigilant oversight of cost, schedule, and technical performance across all component projects and operations, with an unwavering focus on driving the program towards its ultimate success.
- • You will be entrusted with guiding programs from their nascent conceptualization through to their final, successful implementation, ensuring that all phases are managed with precision and strategic foresight.
- • A key aspect of your role will involve the strategic determination and coordination of resource allocation among constituent projects, optimizing their utilization for the collective benefit of the entire program.
- • You will be the primary interface for stakeholder management, cultivating strong relationships with executive sponsors and ensuring their alignment with program goals and progress.
- • Your role will necessitate extensive interaction with all areas affected by the program, including end-users, distributors, and external vendors, fostering collaboration and clear communication.
- • You will be responsible for upholding rigorous quality standards, meticulously reviewing all program deliverables to ensure they meet and exceed expectations.
- • You will collaborate directly with members of the executive team to define the overarching strategy and objectives for groups of projects, and to provide clear, concise, and impactful communication regarding program status and performance.
- • You will ensure that the deliverables of individual projects are tightly aligned with G.E.H.A's overall strategic goals, acting as a bridge between tactical execution and strategic vision.
- • You will effectively communicate the program strategy to project managers, ensuring that individual project goals are not only understood but also demonstrably aligned with the broader program strategy.
- • You will partner with Project Managers to establish realistic and achievable budgets, set clear priorities, and ensure that project teams are equipped with the necessary resources to succeed, closely tracking progress against these plans.
- • You will be responsible for preparing and delivering comprehensive reports to Senior Executives, providing clear insights into the progress of individual projects and the overall health and trajectory of the program.
- • You will proactively manage the program's change control process, making critical decisions, identifying and mitigating risks, addressing issues, and developing robust assumption and mitigation plans.
- • You will design, adhere to, and actively participate in the monitoring of quality assurance processes and project management guidelines, embedding best practices throughout the program lifecycle.
- • You will develop and deliver regular, informative program status reports, determining the optimal frequency and content of project status updates from the project team, analyzing results, and troubleshooting any problem areas to maintain projects on schedule and control overall program timing and status.
- • You will cultivate and maintain all essential business relationships vital to the success of the program, acting as a key relationship manager.
- • You will expertly manage multiple related projects, functioning as a program leader and providing guidance and mentorship to other project managers within the EPMO.
- • You will consult and provide expert guidance in determining program solutions, leading teams through critical decisions regarding buy vs. build options, hosting strategies, and RFI/RFP processes when necessary.
