📋 Description

• ESG Lead (Maternity Cover, 14 Months FTC) at TrustedHousesitters Limited – a remote role based in the United Kingdom supporting the company’s mission to become the world’s most-loved travel solution for pet people while advancing its B Corp-certified sustainability agenda.
• Drive forward the existing ESG strategy by managing carbon accounting, tracking 200+ B Corp commitments, and ensuring progress against Science Based Targets and decarbonisation pathways.
• Act as the go-to ESG business partner across all teams — including marketing, procurement, and operations — translating sustainability data into actionable insights, compelling storytelling, and board-ready reporting.
• Support TrustedHousesitters’ growth toward 1 million members by embedding sustainability into operational decisions and helping scale impact across a global community of over 280,000 members in 140+ countries.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in ESG, sustainability, or corporate responsibility roles, preferably within a fast-growing tech or consumer-facing business.
• Strong ability to manage carbon accounting and track progress against Science Based Targets and B Corp standards.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to translate complex sustainability data into clear narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-sufficient operator who can work autonomously while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with B Corp framework and experience supporting or maintaining B Corp certification.
